How do we evidence to the client the hours worked on their plant?
Through the job allocation, ideally combined with an NFC tag on the plant. Every entry carries the time, the duration, the plant and the job; the tag hangs physically on location, so whoever clocks in was there. At the end of the month you export the service breakdown per client as Excel or PDF – from the same data your payroll is built on.

Do we then have to record twice – once for us, once for the customer?
No, and that is precisely the point. A single entry produces both evaluations: the record under § 26 AZG for your company and the job-based breakdown of hours for the client. Duplicate lists that drift apart by the end of the month become unnecessary.

How do we keep an overview during a turnaround shutdown with many people on site?
Through the deployment planning and the live overview. You plan in advance who is on which plant and when, and publish the plan by push notification. During the shutdown you see day by day who is clocked in – instead of losing the overview on day two and estimating hours at the end.

Can time-and-material hours be recorded separately from the fixed price?
Yes. You record additional work as its own item, separate from the agreed scope. In the evaluation it appears separately so you can charge it on. That is the difference between a claim you can evidence and a discussion about what somebody believes they remember.

Does recording work in the boiler house or in deep areas without reception?
Yes. Entries are stored offline and transmitted automatically once there is a connection again – carrying the original time, not the time of transmission. On industrial sites the absence of reception is the normal case, and NFC entries work there too.

What is the legal position on recording working time in Austria?
§ 26 of the Working Hours Act (Arbeitszeitgesetz, AZG) obliges employers to keep ongoing records of the hours worked – start, end, duration and rest breaks. The Labour Inspectorate can inspect them at any time. If the records are missing, administrative fines follow, and in a dispute the employee's account is taken as the basis.

How do the recorded hours get into payroll?
Through the month-end close: check, release, export as Excel, CSV or PDF. A closed month is frozen; later changes go through a traceable correction route and never quietly alter a basis that has already been paid out.

Where is our employees' data held?
On servers in the European Union, in line with the GDPR. Jobilino is developed and supported in Austria, and support answers in German. Access rights can be set in detail – a site manager sees only their own team, payroll only the data relevant to billing.
