What does time tracking with verification mean?

Can I assign working hours to projects?
Yes. When clocking in, the employee selects the project. With NFC tags, the assignment is automatic. At the touch of a button you can see how many hours have been allocated to which job – for post-calculation and client billing.

Which verifications does Jobilino create automatically?

What is the difference between NFC and GPS location verification?
NFC proves that an employee was physically present at a specific point – they must hold their smartphone against the NFC tag. GPS captures the location at the time of clocking in, but requires mobile network reception. NFC also works offline and indoors, is more privacy-friendly and more precise. For cleaning sites and fixed work locations, NFC is the better choice.
Are the verifications sufficient during an inspection by authorities?
Yes. The digital documentation meets the requirements of the Working Hours Act regarding the obligation to keep records. The start, end and duration of daily working time are documented automatically and in a tamper-proof manner. Subsequent corrections are logged separately.
Can I export verifications for individual clients?
Yes. In the dashboard, you filter by project, client or assignment and export the hours report as CSV, Excel or PDF. The report contains all working hours assigned to the respective client – including timestamps and optional location.
Does location verification work without internet access?
Yes. NFC location verifications work entirely offline. The tag is saved locally on the smartphone and synchronised automatically the next time a connection is established. GPS verifications require mobile network reception at the time of clocking in.
Is GPS data stored permanently?
No. GPS is only recorded at the moment of clocking in and out – not continuously. No movement profiles are created. All data is stored encrypted on European servers and complies with the requirements of the GDPR.
Can I use photos as proof of service?
Yes. Employees can upload photos directly in the app – for example before-and-after images for cleaning jobs, construction progress on building sites, or damage documentation. The photos are automatically assigned to the relevant project and time period.
