Can we run flexitime, shift work and part-time in one system?
Yes. The working-time model is set per contract – full-time, part-time, flexitime, shift work, marginal employment. Target hours, actual hours and the balance follow automatically from the model and the actual entries. If someone changes model, a new contract is created and the historical record stays correct.

How does the overtime balance arise, and can we explain it?
The balance follows continuously from the difference between target hours and recorded working time, with no side calculation. Every subsequent correction to a time entry is logged – with the person, the time and both the old and the new value. That makes any balance traceable down to the individual day, towards staff and towards an inspection alike.

How do assembly hours at the customer reach the time account?
Through the same recording as in production. On assembly jobs the team clocks in via the app or an NFC tag on the plant at the customer, with job allocation and optional location evidence. Those hours flow into the same time account as entries at the factory terminal – no separate list, no merging in Excel.

Are night and weekend supplements worked out automatically?
Yes. Night, Sunday and public holiday hours are recognised from the actual entries against the rules you have set and reported separately, as are additional hours. Public holidays are kept by country and region, so companies with sites in several federal states also calculate correctly.

How is time off in lieu distinguished from a payout?
Both are booked separately. Time off in lieu reduces the balance as time taken, while a payout is recorded as its own transaction and likewise deducted from the balance. In the evaluation you see how much was taken as time off and how much was paid out – instead of a single lump nobody can break down afterwards.

What about the production workforce without a company phone?
That is what the terminal is for: a tablet at the factory gate, in the hall or in the store, where the whole workforce clocks in and out. No chip-card system is needed. Alternatively an NFC sticker is enough, which a private NFC-capable smartphone can read too.

Does the obligation to record working time apply to us as well?
Yes. Following the Federal Labour Court ruling of 13 September 2022, employers must introduce a system for recording working time, regardless of sector and company size. The start, end and duration of daily working time are recorded. In sectors such as construction, building cleaning and logistics, § 17 MiLoG applies on top, with a seven-day recording deadline.

We keep our time accounts in Excel today – how do we switch?
Step by step. You set up the account, enter the working-time models and start with one department or one assembly crew. Existing balances go in as an opening value, and from there the system calculates on its own. There is no need for a cut-off date on which everything changes at once.

Does recording work in production halls without reception?
Yes. Entries are stored offline and transmitted automatically once there is a connection again – carrying the original time, not the time of transmission. In halls, cellars and shell constructions the absence of reception is the normal case, and NFC entries work there too.

What does the solution cost and how long are we tied in?

Who in the company may see which data?
You set that through user groups. A supervisor sees only their own team, payroll only the data relevant to billing, and personnel data such as hourly wage or bank details stays restricted to the people who need it. All data sits on servers in the EU in line with the GDPR.
