Jobilino is a time tracking and workforce management solution designed for companies and their employees.

These files may be used for work documentation, project records, or time tracking documentation and are stored securely on our servers.
Location Data (GPS Trip Recording)
If your company has enabled the mileage tracker feature, Jobilino can record GPS location data to document work-related trips in a legally compliant mileage log (Fahrtenbuch).
Jobilino collects location data only during a trip that you explicitly start and stop yourself. While a trip recording is active, location data is also collected in the background — even when the screen is locked or the app is closed — so that the recorded route and distance are complete.
- Location is never collected automatically or outside an active, user-started trip recording
- An active recording is always visible: Android shows a persistent notification, iOS shows a Live Activity and the system location indicator
- Recorded location data is used to determine the route, distance, and start/destination addresses of the trip
- Trip and location data is shared only within your company's organization account and with our hosting providers who process it on our behalf
- You can stop a trip recording at any time in the app
Optionally, single location captures may also be taken at clock-in/clock-out if your company has enabled this time tracking feature.
NFC Data
Jobilino may use NFC technology to allow contactless time tracking via NFC tags. NFC tags do not store personal data.
Device and Usage Data
We may automatically collect:
- Device information
- App usage data
- Log files
- Diagnostics and crash reports
This information is used to improve app performance and stability.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
- Provide and operate the Jobilino service
- Manage user accounts
- Enable time tracking and project tracking
- Record work-related trips, including GPS location data, in a mileage log when your company has enabled this feature
- Allow photo and file uploads
- Improve app performance and functionality
- Provide customer support
- Communicate important service information
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal data.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
We may share data only in the following cases:
- With service providers (e.g., hosting providers such as AWS) who process data on our behalf

Trip records in the mileage log are subject to statutory retention periods for tax-relevant records. Raw GPS location points are retained according to your company's configured retention period and are automatically deleted afterwards.
